The climate consists of treating the air and the humidity of a room, independently of external climatic conditions. For technical and economic reasons, the HVAC system is usually air recirculation, namely, the system takes air from the room, through a circuit called return, conditioned and reintroduced it in-house.

Although it is possible to design and construct the circuits of ventilation and air conditioning of a room so as to be independent, in most cases the same circuit is used, providing for an outside air inlet to be mixed with the return air before entering conditioning unit.
The entrance of microorganisms in the circuit can be produced directly in the case of humidifiers or through the air intake vents outside if located next to the cooling towers. Periodic cleaning and sanitizing water circuits is necessary to avoid this risk, but has to be done according to well-defined patterns.

Another problem associated with the use of air conditioning systems stems humidification units and cooling towers, indeed, at these points, it is easy to microbial growth due to the high humidity and temperature. Should inspect their HVAC units every few months to keep them working properly.
